Amplifier’s investors include a diverse group of successful entrepreneurs. Their backgrounds in diverse technologies and markets are available on an ad hoc basis to assist Amplifier and its portfolio companies. Our investors have expertise in software, security, healthcare delivery, medical devices, biotechnology, business services, professional services and other technologies and are in many cases known leaders in their areas of interest. The collective experience of our network is a strong differentiator in our ability to mentor portfolio companies and introduce portfolio companies to strategic partners and customers.

Strategic Venture Capital Relationships

Amplifier has close strategic relationships with a number of top quality venture capital funds, some of whom are represented on our Board of Advisors.  We receive from our allied venture capital funds referrals to opportunities that satisfy our investment criteria, access to technical and business expertise as well as venture investing processes, networks and infrastructure support.  And, through these relationships we are able to provide access to further capital for our portfolio companies.

Technology Partners

Amplifier has close relationships with leading regional technology producers as well as strategic relationships with organizations that can assist our portfolio companies with their go to market and commercialization plans.  Through these relationships Amplifier receives referrals and gains access to technical expertise. This support includes the assistance of faculty and staff that can support technical due diligence; access to a pool of technical laborers and interns; and access to business school graduates (employees and/or interns).
